Who we are:

We are a team of individuals brought together by Hugo Damas's initiative towards project LegendaryComics.net. Each of us, using their own specialty, have done our best to deliver a quality site where you can view quality content, easily and enjoyably. Check the "Profiles" page for more detailed information.

Our Goal:

Our main goal, as a team, is to produce quality graphic novels and/or comic books that can be read and appreciated as a whole. We provide our viewers and readers, using the World Wide Web as a free and public publishing medium, the opportunity to see it develop and even influence its development through their support, suggestions and comments.
These graphic novels will be produced by one or more collaborators, all who may have their personal space on the site to place any work they wish, which will also be publicly available in the "Other Works" area.
Our means of monetary support will include, solely, advertising and merchandise: Merchandise includes, also, selling the actual graphic novels (adding bonuses only available on the printed versions.).

More ideally, our goal is to be a community of comic artists. Writers, colourists, letterers, scripters, drawers, etc. A graphic novel may be made by one person or 5, who banded together in LegendaryComics.net to make a memorable comic book. The goal is to add artist after artist to the staff of LegendaryComics.net, who will all work together, in all their respective graphic novels, and have no committed attachments beyond that of the graphic novel. The goal is for LegendaryComics.net to be known for producing graphic novels of great quality, of, dare I say it, legendary quality. So any that see the name, know they will not be disappointed upon reading and/or buying a graphic novel.

What we are doing:

We have only just begun, and though we are prepared to host multiple graphic novels and other works, at the moment, what we are doing is:
- Publishing one graphic novel, “Sword of Heavens: Akashi”.
- Content provided by the creators of the aforementioned comic book, which is all displayed at the area “Other Works”: Snapshot Adventures.
- The site is ever-changing and ever-growing in functionality and “look & feel”, with constant updates, as we try to improve the accommodation we offer our viewers.
- Deep Zoom experience using cross-platform silverlight 2 technology.
- A merchandise catalogue with items pertaining to Sword of Heavens: Akashi. We are able to scale our catalogue to any size.
- Advertising on our site for ProjectWonderful.

Do you wish to contribute?

Our goal is a big one. It is implicit that we wish for more than one graphic novel to be published simultaneously at LegendaryComics.net. And quite frankly, a writer and an artist that are both working and studying can’t hope to fulfil such a thing all alone.

We would like to communicate with whoever is interested to be a part of the possible second wave of LegendaryComics’ publications and content; if you can draw or write and have a somewhat avaiable amount of free time, like we do, and are the least bit curious, check out the Collaborators&Collaborations section of the site..
